Description
Further to the 5-a-day idea, provide certificates and / or awards to contributors who complete a certain amount of bugs / issues. For example, a bronze ubuntu medal and certificate for completing 100 issues, silver for 500 and gold for 1000. Then show a regularly updated table on the web which also shows the countries and ubuntu locos that are winning the most medals.

I like this.

Leaderboards encourage people to work more. It gives them feedback that what they are doing is being counted, it also introduces competition.

It also separates people who do a lot but a quiet, and people who do little but are loud.

This isnt a bug reporting site though. Don't post bugs here, that's what Launchpad is for.

Would be pretty neat to give the individual with the highest rated submissions something like a gold ubuntu logo next to their name or something. Maybe send them a check for $25 USD.
