Description
dell printers do not seem to work well with linux in general...and that's strange that especially dell printer drivers are so hard to find....or at least seem impossible to work with linux or ubuntu.
i think an important effort should be made for this drivers. as a lot of people do have dell printers.

The simple trick with Dell printers is to find out
which printer Dell have put their badge on (preferably
before you buy it) and check the original manufacturer
for Linux drivers.

I should add, you can do that by looking at the vendor and product id's
