Description

As title says, Update the Firefox default page for Ubuntu. Perhaps, change it up between releases. Either way, I know I am sick of the current firefox default page on ubuntu.

Changing it between releases is a good idea imo. Not something too much, but maybe a new theme or new colors.

about:blank is the best.

It opens the page the fastest.

Who keeps the default page in ANY browser anyway?

It existed for a short time on Hardy then was removed after an update. It was basically a customized google start page with news, weather, stock info, all that nonsense.

It looked great but was ultimately useless. +1 though. I'm tired of the old one.

Who keeps A default page in any browser anyway?

@kraemer

The default page now is the "Welcome to Ubuntu" for Gutsy. Never used hardy. Did it change yet for Hardy?

I'm considering working on a html start page for ubuntu.
