Would like to see online ubuntu documentation in pdf or ebook form so that I can save to disk

pdf is an standard that is quite implementable.

Anyways, you can easily download the whole documentation and make htmldoc convert it into a PDF, but I guess that if you knew how to do that you wouldn't need the documentation:)

This reminds me of the HTML4 and PHP manuals, I wouldn't have learned those things if it wasn't for the ability to download off line versions.

PDF is not necessary, just a zip containing all the html content should be enough.

The official documentation is already included. But it would be nice to be able to download a wiki page to a pdf document although you can already use "save page as" to save an html page to your pc.
