Description
I frequently use both Tomboy for my note taking and Labyrinth for my mind mapping. Both programs cover such similar necessities to me that it would be just natural to access them both from a single program.
Here's a mockup of what I have in mind:

great idea!
i'd like to have this capability!
i think it should be made easily with tomboy plugin, which may be disabled by default to keep tomboy simple, as not much users need mindmapping feature.

Tomboy is threatened by Microsoft patents due to use of Mono. I don't even think it should be included.

+1, And while you are on it, remove it from the default.

This suggestion is a great idea but have no chance of being ever implemented if you suggest it here.
It's an upstream work.
Please post your idea and mockup on http://bugzilla.gnome.org
