Description
In "Appearance", you can click on the "Customize..." button.
There in the "Controls" tab you can select "Redmond".
But in "Window Border" there is no "Redmond" setting. :(
I propose to add a "Redmond" Window Border, to go along with the "Redmond" Controls.

Xubuntu has old Redmond controls, and XP-style controls, plus matching window borders. :D
+1 for giving the option for the freaked out windows converts to feel at home.

Yeah, its good to convert family like mom.
The classic Redmond controls are nice. The XP-style is so ugly, it looks like toy kindergarden noob.

There are plenty of installable Windows-style themes, if you so fancy them. I don't see why this needs to be included by default though.

You make a really good point:
If the Redmond controls are already included, then why isn't the matching window border included? It seams like the theme is broken to me.

So, remove the redmond controls for consistency. Just let people download these redmond themes themselves. Or how about make a big theme that includes the border, the gtk layout and perhaps dows-like icons and add it to the repo?

AndrewC,
Because Redmond-styled controls are included, so Redmond-styled window borders should be included too.
