Description

Just Published Version 1.0 Monodevelop I think we can do a package deb and stop using the beta 3 that there are currently repositories Ubuntu hardy. Surely will be more stable and more functionalities. (google translate xD)

Definitely a good idea. A lot of bugs have been fixed in monodevelop 1.0 and it's supposed to be way more stable than the betas.

Great idea. Trying for the past 3 hours to get it running in Gutsy because the repos hold a version from 1 year ago.

If any one has an ideas, please share them! No definitive answer in the forums...

The current version of Mono in the Ubuntu repository is horrendously old. It would be great to get an update.

As the version in the repositories is so horribly outdated, I tried to install the binary version several times, I always got stuck in some kind of dependency hell - please don't neglect MonoDevelop and mono that way, there should be a up to date version in Hardy.

Both MonoDevelop and Mono itself are super old. We do need an update.

Current hardy version is 1.0+dfsg-1ubuntu1.
