GRUB should not been seen or heard.
It should be most the most part invisible.
People shouldn't know its installed.
It shouldn't steal 2 seconds, it should boot Ubuntu immediately.
A bootloader is not an operating system, just something that should load a kernel. A bootloader should follow the principle of KISS. Keep it simple stupid.
