Description

Allow us to link similar ideas.

For example: I created a change-your-vote idea after which I found that one already exists (with a lot of votes, too). Allow users to link both ideas for a more accurate vote count.

If spamming is an issue, allow users to vote on the links themselves...

Actually, it's on the left-hand side when you click a topic: Report duplicates. I just didn't want to use it because it was your first topic. :)

Alternatively... linking related (but different) ideas can be useful.
