Description
Look through the ideas marked "Done" and scrutinize them. Check the comment threads.
It seems to me that many ideas marked "Done" are marked as such with no explanation, leading to comments on them like "where is this 'done'? How is this 'done'?" and confusion in general.
If an idea has been done somewhere, please point to the results so that people can comment and submit further ideas
And now we get to the crux of this idea: if you can't point to solid evidence that the idea has been implemented, don't mark it "done".

Usually the details of the "Done" state are in the comments.
I have checked the current "Done" ideas, in the vast majority of them, the "Done" state is valid.
But you should be aware that when you attach a bug or blueprint to a idea, the status of these attachments will be reflected on the idea status.
Thus, if you attach a bug report that does not match the idea, the idea state will be incoherent. I have noticed a few of them.
We are regularly looking at them to remove such bad attachments, but please be careful when attaching a bug/blueprint.

I agree there are too many marked done, and they are not done. And there are many that should be worked on, that aren't

Agreed. Some ideas marked done have no comment of how it is done. Examples of simple comments like, feature implemented in Hardy, feature requested is a duplicate of so and so, or feature request closed since it conflicts with so and so, or feature requested is implemented but in a different manner etc etc. I know this entails additional work but this is just a request.
