Description
When you are activating a compiz effect, you actually don't know what will you get. So these effects (and perhaps tips for using them) can be previewed in a short flash movie so you will know what you are doing. Google Sketch Up already has something like this.

Who cares about previews?
I can enable them, and play around with them to see what they do.
I rather see Compiz more stable and new features and faster.

Adding flash previews for every Compiz effect would produce super bloat. Keep in mind that this is not M$ we're talking about here. Maybe it would be better for Compiz to have something like this on their main site for people who are specifically looking for something like this...

This is a good idea if it does NOT use Adobe Flash technology (since Flash is still very unstable on 64-bit platforms).

Definitely not the evil browser-crashing Flash. Why not just use the actual plugin to render the effect? That seems more logical to me. Certainly easier to implement, and less bloat. ;)

i agree with yzarc. there is virtually not explanation of what they do or are supposed to do other than the name. this along with more stability would be great.

This has been suggest on the forums before and the general consensus was that theres no room on the installation CD for any videos. If the effect could be rendered some other way then i agree this would be a good idea.
