Don't mistake me: if the software was ready and I had the money, I'd pay $$ for the hardware right now. I really want this. But I wouldn't know where to go. And if I wouldn't I doubt the Ubuntu target audience ("an OS for normal people", or whatever) would, either.

So, I'm giving this my +1. But this has to be a "blue sky, maybe one day" project.

I'm going to guess most of you do. All you need is a cardboard box, a piece of something clear like acrylic, a sheet of paper, and a webcam. This will get you going and allow for testing.
