Description
There should be a program that saves your extensions, themes, bookmarks, and maybe plugins into a .deb file, but it "cleans" the private data so its JUST those (and maybe history if you'd like). You'll also get an option to install for the entire system or for just yourself.

Check out the Firefox plugin FEBE. There is also a companion plugin that turns your FEBE info into a single plugin.

Mozilla Weave [http://labs.mozilla.com/2007/12/introducing-weave/] might do what you want.

I use it to keep firefox synced between vista and ubuntu. It's only available for ff3 at the moment, though.
