Idea #3675: Improve Beryl Support.

Written by blyahoff the 7 Mar 08 at 07:00. Category: Hardware support. Related project: Nothing/Others. Status: New
Rationale
It would be nice to improve the beryl support for different types of graphic cards.
For example, I have an Acer Extensa 5220 and beryl does not support my card.
If you propose better support, more users searching for design extras and etc. This way more Vista users will be impressed and amazed.

You should use Compiz Fusion as it's included in Ubuntu.

Beryl is superceded by Compiz fusion, which is included by default in ubuntu. ccsm should be available by default, though.

Beryl was dropped and merged with Compiz and is now Compiz Fusion. (Which, is included with Ubuntu by default)

Maybe you meant CF? xD But the idea in general, better video card support, I agree with. =]
