Rationale
To set your system sounds, you need to go to "System" -> "Preferences" -> "Sounds" and set all of them manually. How about a universal sound "theme"?

Obviously this would be nothing less than brilliant!
Perhaps also include more than one theme default?

Yes let's get some ear-candy in here ;o)
Sounds are as important as visual effects to personalize an environment.
Good idea.

At the very least, Ibex should have new sounds. I very much am getting sick of hearing drums over and over again (I just set it to space-like noises).
I like you idea better

Welcome sound seems made with a Roland synthesizer.
Change it, please!

You can change themes so easily, we need this for sounds too, (maybe be able assign default sound themes to the regular gnome themes also?) It is very annoying having to change the sounds 1 by 1.

I would like too have more sound themes but most important would be finishing the Ubuntu theme because I like it.
Missing new mail and low battery.
