Remove "Dive Into Python" from Install CD

While making my own custom LiveCD, I noticed that some naughty developer sneaked a copy of "Dive Into Python" (apt-get package of "diveintopython") into the CD. I think we can remove it to add more useful software (and save bandwidth + download time).

Perhaps you'd better expand on this a bit. "Sneaked"?

Plus, according to Synaptic, it's 348Kb; about 0.05% of the CD, I think. I admit that I don't have any use for a Python manual, but still.

Of course if you can think of a package you would rather have on the CD that's that size or less, then that's a different matter.

(Abstain.)

It sounds like a good addition. Python is a popular scripting language these days and this will help introduce people to it. It's a free book, what's the problem?

Oh come on, I needed to 'dpkg -l | less' to accidentally find it, I don't think that's a good way to promote it -_-.

It's not much space, but it really doesn't need to be in the default installation/CD.

Anyone that's doing python development (even beginners) will likely have internet access and can access the repository to install the book from the repository.

The CD is more for things that are needed by many on default installation.

I say get rid of the package from the CD but keep it in the repository.

If it is up to me it stays :)

And I would rather see more of those books. I always seem to be without an internet connection when I need a book like that the most. Having 1 installed with the package (apache, perl, php, mysql, OOo and even Ubuntu and any other package) will help alot for the new user of those packages.

I'd keep it as well. It doesn't take up any space and it's a great tutorial for people who want to learn python (like me). If you install python by default you might as well include a manual on how to use it.
Saying anyone that wants to develop should have internet access is saying that people without internet shouldn't develop, which sounds awfully discriminating to me.
