Idea #3632: Alternate languages for Brainstorm

Description
Why should Brainstorm ideas be limited only to those that speak English? This isn't fair. One should be able to submit ideas in other languages (through a simple alternate language version of the site) and have the ideas cross-referenced by language (so that the English ones don't drown out the comparatively alternate language ones). There are quite a few ideas posted here that have a disclaimer about poor English or that just use a translator, and sometimes the notion of the idea is "lost in translation" or the poor wording/grammar leads to people voting it down.

People should learn English or commit seppuku.

Like I did, English is not my native language.

use google translate

http://translate.google.com/

i agree with you, that is somewhat unfair to those that don't speak English, but i think the ability to have a centralized suggestion site is more important.

This is a very general issue, not only for Ubuntu Brainstorm, but as soid OOtrav, there is no alternative to the use of a unique language, as it would be highly inefficient to decentralize the discussion.
Of course, usage of English is unfair for 90% of the world. Maybe we should have a Brainstorm in Esperanto instead !
