All the ideas that I have submit are about promoting Ubuntu and also I have read many others more.

Excuse my english. I think I should have used "create" instead of "make".

Either way is perfectly fine. Great idea!

ts, those marketing guys everywhere...

We don't want to earn money with Ubuntu, so why do we need to do marketing for it? Ubuntu must be good so that it's used widely, that's it.

If you are able to understand German, I recommend you reading that article: http://www.felix-schwarz.name/files/opensource/articles/Linux_ist_nicht_Windows /

Its true. Let's keep it secret. Don't talk about Ubuntu to enyone. Let the people keep using Windows!! MUAHAHAHAHA

I just meant we don't have to advertise Ubuntu as for example car producers do for their cars.
If Ubuntu gets better, it will spread by words of mouth.
Unlike commercial vendors we don't need to have as much users as possible. That's why I think we don't need those "super effective ideas" by marketing people.

No! I know what you mean, but we dont look for money! About the idea that we dont need as much users as possible I think you're worng. More users will mean more support from companys, more drivers, more hardware, more develovers...

It's not about making money. It's about telling people that they have a choice.
