There should be more wallpapers to choose from, currently there are 3 in UBUNTU, User should be able to customize it more.

Lots of themes in Synaptic and on the web.

Infinite variety of wallpapers to choose from...on the web. No need to bloat the repositories, just right-click (Gnome), or save to the desktop directory (xfce). Too easy.

Don't add any more to the distro CDs - default is just fine the way it is. Don't Bloat my Distro!

A few extra wallpapers in the default artwork package wouldn't make for bloat, and it would be a nice touch to have a couple wallpapers to choose from without having to go search the web. The disk usage would not be significant for a couple of jpegs or pngs.

cheesehead, Haven't you been demoting every idea lately under the premise of "preventing bloat"?
