Idea #353: Intelligent touchpad disabling.

bug This idea is a duplicate of Idea #126: Disable touchpad while typing.
Written by shad0w_walker the 29 Feb 08 at 00:53. Category: Look and Feel. Related project: Nothing/Others. Status: New
Rationale
Provide easy access to touchpad option for disabling whilst typing.

The system would check for touchpad taps during typing and if a break is present act normally, if there is no break in typing during a touchpad tap then display dialog to select touchpad options.

This would be somewhat like sticky keys in Windows, it would give an option to disable during typing with default settings, choose custom settings or not display the message again and keep out of the users way.
