Written by MatthewGreen the 6 Mar 08 at 10:37. Category: Installation.
Related to: Nothing/Others. Status: New
Description
The installation process can take some time. Use the time to promote either/and/or:

- popular applications + blurb + screenshots
- tasks that can be accomplished with Ubuntu/Gnome
- what's new in this release

...or a combination of all, on a rotating 30 seconds(?) refresh/update, and move progress bar to side/top/bottom.

Example: After starting the installation process...
1. GIMP - a popular image processing tool (with a nice screenshot montage or similar)
2. OpenOffice
3. Evolution
4. New in 8.04 - World Time Clock
etc.

Hope this explains the concept?

Like Winx XP or 98?
I do not want any promotions. I can test my system, browse internet etc.
