Idea #3472: Double click menu to close a window

Written by tbrminsanity the 6 Mar 08 at 03:45. Category: Look and Feel. Related project: Nothing/Others. Status: New
Rationale
You should be able to double click the menu icon in the top left corner of a window to close that window. Currently I use gconf-editor to remove the menu icon and add a second close icon to replace it (since you can always access the menu option by right clicking on the title-bar). It is a simple enough feature to implement and it would be greatly appreciated.

This is similar to idea #3229 but involves the entire system as someone suggested.
