Related to: Nothing/Others. Status: New
Description
The names of the people submitting ideas should be hidden on the main page until after you have voted.

Otherwise there is a chance that we may build up "elite" submitters, like on networks like digg, who people vote for only because they have become good mates with them. There should be no names on any of the submissions by default, and it should only be possible to see a another persons total number of idea submissions, and their ratings, not click on their names to see all their submissions.

Otherwise you will find OSX zealots, Gnome zealots, etc band together in different groups and they will be more inclined to +1 everyone in their group, or -1 against other people they have fought against in comments.

Excellent idea. It prevents people from voting down against people they may have a grudge against.

+1 from me.

I disagree with this idea. If I notice that a certain user has submitted two or three excellent ideas, I might click their user name to see if there is anything else by them I might be interested in - and there often is. Hiding the name of the submitter until after voting would force the end of this function. It would also make it more difficult to spot the troublesome users.

Contemplated that, except that person may only have 1 really good idea, and his other idea might only be semi good, but will get more votes for it anyway. Every idea should be equal.

And its not our job to spot troublesome users. Because we cant do anything about them, leave that for the mods
