Idea #3257: Graphical fstab editor

Related to: Nothing/Others. Status: New
Description
I edit fstab maybe once every three months or so. It would be nice if there were a graphical editor which could allow editing with all the possible options and perhaps commonly performed ones such as mounting nfs or iso's. This would save having to constantly re-lookup syntax and other details.

I love this idea.

fstab is pretty simple as far as config files go.

I wouldn't appreciate a skilled developer wasting his/her time on this.

I think the best thing should be a on-line help like "www.sourceslist.org" for source.lst

I think there already exists a package that does just this: pysdm, availeable through synaptics.

I have made a small application that does (some of) this: http://zpon.dk/blog/?page_id=129

It would avoid many problems to newbies and medium-level users.
