Description
The idea that the simple ingenuity needed to give programs unique and dissimilar names is apparently beyond the scope of the immeasurable collective intelligence that is the heart of Linux is quite simply risible. It's the KDE environment. Okay, we get it. But at least try to be original. If that fails, open a poll and let the community choose the name, but let's get over this pointless obsession with K's.

I'm a gnome user, but it's part of KDE's spirit to have names begining by "K" like some "gnome" ones with G (gnormalize, gwget, gnometris,...) or X related programs, Xeyes, Xpdf...
or winDVD, winrar, winzip some loosy OS.

Beyond annoying. I know it's a really poor reason, but this is one reason for me to not use KDE apps. Also pretty annoying when they do it in gnome.
