Description
Create a Ubuntu variant with lots of freely available games and trial versions of Linux based games. This should allow more gamers to try out Ubuntu. Doesn't matter even if the distro becomes bigger than a DVD or two. Lots of games available in the market are anyway huge.

I love the idea, I've never played as much as after switching to ubuntu. (Maybe I didn't loved commercial games)

I rather see more games in the repository.

Eldmannen is you want more games then go to launchpad.net and request for them to be included.

FLOSS games are a good idea, but don't waste bandwidth/space on proprietary trial versions. Maybe shortcuts to them would be appropriate.

Yeah, don't bother with proprietary games.

@darnzen
Yes, Ubuntu Ultimate Edition released Ubuntu Ultimate Gamer Edition based on the 6.10 Edgy release. It's a DVD with many, many games on it. It's a bit outdated now, but surely one could install and update to Feisty, then Gutsy. I used this distro for a whle and enjoyed many of the games.
