Idea #3131: File previews in Gnome "Open File" dialog

Written by oleksiy the 4 Mar 08 at 17:24. Category: Look and Feel. Related project: Nothing/Others. Status: New
Rationale
It would be good to have file previews (images, documents, etc) in Gnome "Open File" dialog. At present you can only see image previews in graphic applications like GIMP. Why not have it as default option?
