Temporary Petition to ban kostus_online for hating us poor Brainstormers. Please remove this petition when he is banned or the number of votes goes negative.

His idea may not have been constructive, but it is still an idea and if you disagree, just vote it down and move on. While I agree that it was a bad idea, this site definitely needs reform.

It's too opaque in its current form. There is no direction. Feature requests and bug fixes are posted as ideas, which they may be in to an extent, but if the developers of the software in question don't bother reading this page, they are useless. There needs to be a ways to submit the feature/bug directly to its corresponding website so that the developers are made aware of it.

Linux isn't Unix per say, but it is a Unix derivative. It's system structure and design was built to emulate Unix, and therefore, things are done in the Unix way, which makes his idea a contradiction of itself.

So don't worry about it. You have a passion for Ubuntu and that's a good thing.

GNU is a collection of programs. Linux is a kernel that was created to emulate Unix. Please don't feed me the GNU/Linux line. I'm not a Stallman worshiper.

terlmann : Please report this to moderator next time please, brainstorm should be used for ideas to improve ubuntu. By adding a idea here requesting something from moderators, you don't make sure that moderators or admins take care of the situation. We can read this idea many days/weeks after it has been posted. During this time, this idea is not useful and invite other people to use brainstorm such ways.
