bug This idea is a duplicate of Idea #81: Power Management.
Written by qense the 4 Mar 08 at 15:47. Category: Others. Related project: Nothing/Others. Status: New
Rationale
Green Grid(http://www.thegreengrid.org/) is an initiative started by several companies to make computing greener. It focusses mainly on energy efficiency. Not only will it help Ubuntu with becoming greener, the users will also use less power, which makes Ubuntu even cheaper and Canonical's name will appear at more places. It will also be good for networking with other companies and the image to the general public.
