Description
Only 2 out of 8 of the Most popular ideas ever have adquired the work in progress status, whereas the remaining ideas (among them the two more voted) are still as new ideas.
Please, focus on peoples claims!! The Ubuntu community is manifestating its oppinion, take it into consideration. Ubuntu is people that use it, people that use it is Ubuntu's soul. Listen to your soul.

The site just started about a week ago. Give it some time. The things mard as in progress were most likley already in progress before the brainstorm site was created.
Also, the development community has to weigh the popularity of the idea with the ammount of work involved with implementing it.

It is not like everyone is working on the same thing. Quick stuff naturally gets done faster.
