Solution #1: Make an interface which is touch-centric.
Written by Jay Nnib the 26 Dec 12 at 11:36.
Here are the features.

>The clipboard have a manager like softwares diodon, glippy.
>In addition to that, it must also have an interface which is analogous to that unity launcher(this can be on the right side). Let me call this clip launcher.
>This clip launcher must have 'data stored' in clipboard in place of 'launcher icons'.
>There must be an empty box in place of the dash icon(to add data). This allows the user to copy and paste through simple touch(or click) and drag.
>The right click(or long touch) menu may have options like delete, view data etc.
>The clipboard must be able to hold any kind of file.
>The clip launcher must have auto hide feature such that it pops out when we drag some data and when we move the mouse to the right end of the screen(some gesture in case of touch).

Here's some good apps for that(I don't use them, but I assume they're good). http://www.webupd8.org/2010/08/best-linux-clipboard-manager.html

There are many clipboard managers in the software center, please check those out and see if any of them fit your needs. If they don't, please tell us which one(s) is/are the closests and what its shortcoming(s) is/are.
