As soon as I plugged in my EPSON Stylus to Ubuntu,
it had the drivers to, and did, scan and copy and image
in less than 3 min, using xsane.

With the included Windows app, it took about 10-15 min.

I'm afraid the person who started this thread needs to
simply explore the menus of the program, that's fundamental.

It's possible that he/she is scared of Outlook Express/Thunderbird and would demand an easier alternative.

I honestly don't mean to be rude,but some simply expect
a Media Center program for everything.

It would be nice, but it would need a complete desktop interface overhaul- not to mention program engine overhaul.
