Lenses and Scopes will be installable/uninstallable from the Ubuntu Software Center, under the "Themes & Tweaks" section. There are already a few there, and more will be coming soon.

What other functionality do you feel is needed?

I think our ideas may go hand-in-hand. I was proposing lenses be initiated through the icon of the app it pertains too. Reason being that as more and more Lenses are developed it'll take too many keyboard shortcuts or too much tapping of "Tab" to get to the needed lens. Somebody flagged this as "in developement". Could that person please post a link to a discussion or decision regarding that so the moderators can confirm the status change?

sorry, it was flagged "implemented", it would still be nice to have a link.

Discarding "implemented" flag, if this truly HAS been implemented, please show how it has been implemented, then re-flag the idea.
