Rationale
Some projects (like ardour - digital audio workstation) just need more support (Translations, money etc.). In case of ardour the developer is working full time on it - but the money he receives is far behind what he needs.
I recommend this video which is the reason i came up with this idea:

Put a "Support"-button in the Software-Center

I propose to put a "Support this project" or "Support" or "Donate" or whatever - button in the Software-Center which lets the user easily help out that project. Donations could then be given the same way users pay for software in the Software-Center.
And only if some more users would help translate the software they are using, the programmers could do what they do best - program.
