Description
I'm not sure that "real" people use the Rhythmbox rating system which allow to give a notation between 1 to 5 !

Instead of it i suggest to have a much simpler system : a starring system (just fill a star in front of your favorite music see gmail for an illustration http://spaceagewasteland.com/images/gmail9.gif )

Brainstorm is a good occasion for a poll around that idea

no. I use this feature. All the time. I need fine-grained distinction between songs that I absolutely hate (1), don't like (2), barely (3), like (4) and love (5).

My dynamic playlists depend on that. My "normal" playlist is anything that is not rated or with >=3 stars, my "top" playlist is everything >3 stars, and "not rated" is anything with no stars at all.

That way, when I have visitors, I can use the "top" playlist to avoid playing crap.
