I don't really know what you are talking about.
I really think that this place needs to better organize it's suggestions. One part for improving the system, another part for improving Ubuntu itself, and another part for just for fun stuff.
Lots of people have already complained, just look at the suggestions in the 5-50 votes category.

Btw, the reason I voted +0 was because its not something which should never be done, its just not a priority.
People should be voting in a similar fashion, not doing -1 to stuff there is no time to implement

Apart from this specific case, which was more of a joke....
Perfection is in the details and Linux developers should get this mentality if they want Linux to become better than OSX from all point of views.
