I don't know about anyone else but I love to see the audio ports on Dell Laptop Docking stations working. I have a Dell D820 and two docking stations (one at work the other in my home office). It would be nice to leave my speakers connected to the Docks and not have to plug and unplug them from the Headphone jack on the laptop.

I posted a similar issue when Brainstorm first opened, and it was voted down and flagged as a duplicate. I haven't found the One True Request as of yet, but hopefully this will get fixed. It is odd, considering Ubuntu's partnership with Dell, to be having this many problems with a Dell laptop.

I couldn't get docking audio and video to work acceptably, after almost a year of trying. I ended up abandoning the dock altogether so I could keep using Ubuntu.
