Idea #25751: The account sync across home network

Written by janis.laimins the 1 Sep 10 at 23:00. Related project: Nautilus. Status: New
Rationale
As a user i would like to have an opportunity to _simply_ pass accounts created on one computer to other computers in house (ex. through interface like for Remote Connection [The popup when somebody want's to connect]). This way managing pictures, movies and other stuff could get easier across multiple PCs.

Example:
Amy shares her account details with Adams and then Adam can allow Amy's account access to specific directory/ies on the system through SSH connection.

Since ACL is already in the Ubuntu repositories, I don't understand what Solution #1 needs. Is this Already Implemented?

Firstly, this feature should be available by default. I am not a new user of Ubuntu, but i have spent many hours searching if there is any alternative for the file permission system like in Windows.

Secondly, if ACL could be implemented as default program for Ubuntu. I will fill another Idea about passing credentials between multiple users on home network. As I have found out the only way to do is to manually add/update each user on all machines.
