Description
Currently it is quite complex for beginners to mount an CD image file like an .iso image. You have to use cryptic shell commands like "sudo mount image.iso -o loop /mnt/loop" or something like that - I forget it every time. ;)

My suggestion: Add a new contex menu entry "Mount on desktop" for every ISO image, if you click on it with the right mouse button. It wouldn't be hard to implement but a huge contribution to the ease of Ubuntu use.

PS: Sorry for my bad english.

Your linux knowledge is bad too. mount -o loop is yesterday, use CDemu 1.0. It handles all types of images, has own /dev/ file, it even has gnome applet, so it works quite like Daemon Tools

Then maybe CDemu should be installed by default?

There is no difficulties to install it yourself. http://www.cdemu.com. Including it in distro will bring Ubuntu law hazard, even Windows doesnt include virtual cd rom, and Ubuntu has no mp3 codec for that reason

Already implemented, for me at least. I dont know via which program but I can mount ISO-files simply by right clicking on them in Nautilus.

@ AzazelMazikin:

Why should an easy way to mount images be illegal? Not all images are warez ...
