Description
People who switched would not be made to feel guilty or dirty about using that key. They could be made and sold very cheaply and increase evangelism.

Also, that key should be supported by default:

Free "Powered by Ubuntu" stickers can be obtained from System76:

Sending them out with the Ubuntu CD by default is a great idea, though.

@downdb, those look a little big to fit on the keyboard though. I was thinking of just a 1cm x 1cm square logo on black, beige, grey, and white.

New Apple keyboards are shipped without the apple logo.

There are a number of places online you can find an ubuntu sticker template. Download one of those, buy some sticker paper, and print it out yourself.

@ladysorka, you wouldn't happen to have a link to one of those would you? Also, can I borrow a color printer? And I'd need some sticker paper that isn't going to wear off after the first thousand keystrokes...

Why not have a keyboard made with an Ubuntu logo on that key instead of a Windows logo?

What do the System76 / Dell / other manufacturer systems look like that are sold with Ubuntu pre-installed? Do those systems have Windows keys on the keyboard? The manufacturers should put Ubuntu logos instead of Windows logos on those keys.

There is no way, a sticker on a keyboard key would last a long time.
Keyboards, that have a penguin there already exist.

Why not a replacement key instead? =)
Next time I buy a new system, in a long time thanks to Xubuntu, I'll take issue if they try to give a not blank Meta key.
Who would have thought that they even license that http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Windows_key#Licensing =O

zareason.com has ubuntu keyboard on their menu, I also remember reading a post (on linux.com?) saying "the windows key was popped out and replaced with an ubuntu key". Meaning this is available at least in a couple of places..
