Description
I can see entering it in the first time (maybe), but I don't think it's necessary to ask for it after every reboot. I keep all of my music on a separate NTFS drive, and it basically makes all media players that have a built-in media library useless because the library gets reset unless I open the drivers before launching the app, resulting in a very painful re-cataloging process.

Because you have misconfigured the fstab entry for mounting your ntfs partitions, stroll on over to the forums, post your fstab and someone will glad set you straight.

Also mounting of filesystems is a root privilege. You can give yourself that privilege but that is opening up a bunch of security issues. The best way is to do what peterjs said and get your fstab working correctly so that it is mounted automatically.
