Description
I use evolution, however when i need to look at a calendar i have to use sunbird. This is because evolution is basically stagnent, and does not support modifying web calendars hosted outside of the local server. i know there are a few work arounds for getting it to work, but i would really love to have a simple calendar program built into gnome/ubuntu(default) which links between the desktop clock (evolution calendar display) and a web based calendar, which supports bi-direction changes and updates.
I don't like having to open sunbird each time i need to change an alarm.

lightning will be integrated in the next version of thunderbird which will get us a lot closer to this goal, however, the taskbar calendar only seems to play with evolution, should make this configurable. i have my system set up such that thunderbird syncs to google, google syncs to evolution...and that works, but it's a bit convoluted.

It will be grate if i can manage my Google Calendar in Ubuntu Calendar... :) Gnome will say me if i have appointment.

GoogleCalender works with Hardy Heron.
If you have a iCal Server, you can easy put your calenders on this server.
Also you can add you webcal-iCals
So what?
