Description
I think Ubuntu should come with a really sleek media program. Rhythm Box is the best we have and it really just looks like a standard gray window. I would love to see some sleek design idea go into this.

Use AmaroK. It's probably the sleekiest music app out there. I like to use it and it has more features than any other music manager I know. Or just be happy to stick to more subtle software like RB. It's all your decision.

This is not an issue of Ubuntu, it is an issue of RB. Please do not confuse the operating system and the applications it runs. Please choose and download a better player, not all users play music on Ubuntu.

I use RB and I like it. I neither need nor want a fancy-shmancy Interface. Hell, most time it runs minimized to a symbol

if you're using Ubuntu, not Kubuntu, then Banshee is a choice system. I'd say it is superior to Amarok, especially with the new version coming out. It is looking really good.

It is? You know its pretty good, even though I personally don't like it, I use quodlibet. Think twice before you call something a piece of 'crap' you know people work hard for all of this free stuff right? You could put it in a nicer way.

rb is just fine, it could use some usability improvements imo. also, i think "make this better" is not an idea, and there are already too much of those on brainstorm, sorry. -1
