I don't want more visual clutter - more things to *choose* that I'll never use, or select by accident!

I want to select between a couple useful options, not be bombarded with a billion choices for every click.

When I want a billion choices, I use the command line.

Perhaps an idea would be that you could be able to chose wich alternatives you want on your menu. Maybe from a setup-utility of some kind. That way, you can have as much or little clutter as you want.

Two right-click actions we could definitely use from the menu

1. remove item from menu
2. show menu item properties (dialog with name, icon, command line...)
3. Maybe a delete application with confirmation box of course

I like this idea because it is non-intrusive if you don't press the right mouse button but could make for very quick and easy removal of a program that you may have been testing out.

Thanks for your participation. You can use this idea to think, discuss and to get inspiration (because this sounds nice).

However keep in mind that the description of this idea is not clear, and developer won't be able to do anything with it.

The reasons are that the description suggest improvement, and gives concrete examples, however it speaks about different ideas (manual, delete program) which are different, thus we can't know for which idea people voted.

Adding functionalities to the Applications menu can be great! However, you need to specific what, and only one idea at the time, so people can vote and gather on it ;)
