Idea #21593: To create graphical icons of Indicator keyboard layouts.

Written by mothes the 28 Sep 09 at 19:13. Related project: Gnome. Status: New
Rationale
It's uncomfortable to use text version of keyboard layouts on the panel. It's three inconspicuous letters of language layouts. And new users don't know hot to do graphical icons on the panel. It's great to have good bright icons. I think it's very possible to create in next version of Ubuntu.

I think, that simple squares with first two letters of language name is better, and they can be colored with different colors, depending on language.

It's also good idea, it's have to be colorefull and elegant. And simple to use.
