Yes, but I think that in Ubuntu important user applications also should not be mono-depended.

It does not make sense to remove applications our users got accustomed to from the default install. This will only create confusion.

And stop spreading FUD about Mono. By the same token you can say that the Linux kernel should be removed because "it infringes MS' patents".
