Idea #20545: add flash support to miro

Written by dracus the 7 Jul 09 at 01:29. Related project: Miro Internet TV. Status: New
Rationale
Currently in Linux Miro doesn't support be it Adobe or Gnash. Their reason is unresolvable performance issues that cause the program to crash. This is very frustrating because a lot of the Features of Miro depend on Flash. So I recommend that work be done to solve this so that like other OS's Ubuntu can utilize all the Features of Miro.

Solution #1: use Gnash
Written by dracus the 7 Jul 09 at 01:29.
because it's a performance issue I would suggest we petition the developers to test Miro with Gnash. Then if that works for them to make it possible out of box to install flash plugin for Miro along with the suggestion to use Gnash. In The meantime work should continue on better adobe support as well.
