I like this idea. I'd especially like things like known system processes (like xorg) to be explained and perhaps flagged as being a system process. That might make the user feel safer by knowing where all those processes come from.

This sounds like a great idea. A small description provided for each required process would make people easily see what is going on, and not be so intimidated by the confusing names of programs.
