Idea #17082: easier access to host ntfs/fat32 from wubi-Ubuntu users

Written by nitrofurano the 6 Jan 09 at 19:01. Related project: Wubi Windows installer. Status: New
Rationale
I must confess Wubi were awesome for all ms-windows users are still not that comfortable when working with partitions, which usage makes me recall the good old times i used BeOS-5 PE, which works in similar way.

The problem is it seems to have a difficult or impossible access on the ntfs or fat32 filesystem where it were installed, situation can be considered hugelly annoying for the most of the Wubi-Ubuntu users...

As well, there is no information if fuseblk and ntfs are the same thing, or which are the differences among both.

The Windows partitions are available within the directories /host and /media.
