Idea #16571: ISO mounter plug-in for Konqueror / Dolphin

Written by Primož Papič the 17 Dec 08 at 15:39. Related project: Kubuntu. Status: New
Rationale
There should be an "plug-in" for Konqueror or Dolphin that when you click on ISO it gives you an option to mount it.
I think that this would be very useful thing, as now there AFAIK there is no ISO mounter for KDE, the only one I found was gMount (for Gnome).
And I think that this "plug-in" goes nicely together with KDE philosophy. That's why I proposed it for Konqueror / Dolphin and not for Nautilus.
For "obvious" security reasons this should be optional, and even then, ISO could be mounted by right click.
But you should be able to change so that left click mounts the ISO.

look up fuse iso in synaptic personally i say a menu entry should be added to integrate this. Fuse iso uses gvfs so it can be done in user mode meaning no admin priveledges and easily unmounted.

Hello, I made script for nautilus-action that cover this brainstorm. In the forum below, #!/bin/bash gives instruction to port the script for KDE user.

I have to warn you, if you're using language other than English for your desktop, you may have problem using it (e.g. it won't working, because I hard-code the path to /home/user/Desktop).
